    Since 1949, Portland Rescue Mission has been tirelessly committed to breaking the cycle of homelessness, addiction, and despair in the lives of hurting people in need. This is done by a group of highly relational, Christ-centered, joyful servants comprised of 90 staff and 887 volunteers who shine a light by providing the following;

    CityTeam Portland offers a place for individuals to heal, regain stability, and find a pathway back to society. Our restorative residential programs bring people back from the depths of despair to the height of empowerment through holistic healing of the mind, body, and spirit. We utilize a faith-based, trauma-informed approach to supporting our residents. Our 5 programs are:

    Night Strike - weekly outreach event to our houseless neighbors

    Connect - overnight shelter for men

    Community of Hope - residential working program for women and women with children

    Renew - recovery program for men

    Forward - bridge housing for graduates from Renew

  • Feed the mass

    Empower, Educate, and Serve Through Food

    A Portland based 501c3 nonprofit, Feed the Mass was established by Chef Jacobsen Valentine in response to a growing rise of food insecurity in Multnomah County and personal understanding of the challenges individuals and families face in accessing nutritious meals.

    Every Child PDX mobilizes community to uplift families and children impacted by foster care in the Portland Metro.

    We’re a nonprofit dedicated to loving Jesus, caring for those battling mental illness, and educating the church on trauma informed approaches. Our mission is centered on practicing the way of Jesus and learning to love as He loves. We believe in the equal importance of mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health, and this holistic approach guides our work. We equip churches and ministries with mental health tools through workshops, provide ongoing support to individuals through coaching and Underdogs Clubs. We actively work to break the stigma surrounding mental health within the church. Underpinning all of our efforts is a commitment to seeking Jesus through prayer, Scripture, and spiritual formation.

    Mending the Soul is a non-profit organization with a global mission to bring accessible healing from trauma and abuse in Jesus’ name!
    We strive to educate and resource individuals, churches, and service organizations with a sustainable trauma care model, free resources, and training contextualized for their specific languages and communities. We believe that healing happens in community, and we create resources that foster safe, restorative relationships.

    Founded in 1999, Street Roots is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization in Portland, Oregon, that publishes a weekly investigative newspaper sold by people experiencing homelessness and poverty to earn an income.

    HOLLA's mission is to change the narrative of youth of color through culturally responsive relationships and programs. We are calling attention to the power and potential of Black, Brown and Indigenous youth. We believe in their inherent worthiness and brilliance.

    At PDX Saints Love, we advance love in Portland by building bridges of compassion to restore our neighborhoods. We remove barriers and create equitable opportunities for everyone.

    We focus on addressing social determinants of health in underserved communities, especially those living unsheltered or housing insecure. This includes people with disabilities, mental and emotional health challenges, substance abuse disorders, communities of color, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and immigrant & refugee families.
